Take a clean, airtight container or glass jar and pour the two hundred milliliters of coconut milk into it. Add the three tablespoons of chia seeds to the liquid. Stir the mixture thoroughly together with a spoon or fork so that the seeds are well distributed throughout the milk and no lumps form.
Let the mixture rest on the counter for ten minutes and then stir it vigorously once more to prevent the chia seeds from sinking to the bottom. Close the container or jar with a lid. Place it in the refrigerator and let it sit for at least one night, allowing the seeds to absorb all the liquid and form a firm structure.
Just before eating, get the fifty grams of fresh strawberries. Wash the fruit thoroughly under cold running water and gently pat dry with a paper towel. Remove the green hulls with a paring knife and slice the strawberries into quarters or thin slices.
Remove the cold chia pudding from the refrigerator and remove the lid. Distribute the sliced strawberries in an even layer over the top of the set pudding. Serve the dish directly from the container or scoop into a breakfast bowl.
