Spiralize the zucchini into courgetti. Peel the garlic clove and chop it finely. Make sure the peeled and cleaned king prawns are dry and ready for immediate use.
Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the finely chopped garlic and chili flakes and sauté briefly. Add the king prawns to the pan and cook them for three to four minutes on all sides until pink and fully cooked. Remove the king prawns from the pan with a spoon and set them aside temporarily on a plate.
Add the courgetti to the remaining oil in the same pan. Cook the vegetable strands for just one to two minutes so they warm through but retain their bite. Remove the pan from the heat and thoroughly mix the homemade pesto through the courgetti.
Scoop the warm courgetti with pesto onto a plate. Distribute the set-aside king prawns over the vegetables and serve the dish immediately.
