Mince the onion and press or mince the garlic clove finely. Make sure the turkey fillet and sweet potato are cut into equal-sized pieces and chop the fresh sage leaves as finely as possible beforehand.
Heat the coconut oil in a sturdy braising pan over medium-high heat. Add the minced onion and garlic and sauté for a few minutes until they look translucent. Next, add the diced turkey fillet pieces to the pan and brown the meat all over.
Add the diced sweet potato and the finely chopped sage to the browned meat. Pour the organic chicken broth into the pan and bring everything briefly to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, place a lid on the pan and let the stew simmer gently for twenty to twenty-five minutes until the potato and turkey are completely cooked through.
Remove the pan from the heat once the ingredients are tender and the liquid has reduced slightly. Divide the warm turkey stew directly into bowls and serve.
